介紹

QQ for Mac is Tencent's macOS client for the QQ messaging service. It brings messaging and community communication to a desktop application installed as QQ.app. The official Mac site presents an NT-based architecture, messaging and channels, rather than a browser-only chat client.

Communication and desktop tools

The official Mac product page describes audio and video calls with real-time sharing, automatic switching with the system appearance, text recognition and cross-device continuity. It labels text recognition and continuity as requiring macOS 12 or later. Feature availability depends on the installed version and platform; features advertised for Windows are not assumed to exist in this Mac package.

Recorded distribution

This exact Homebrew cask records 7.0.0_260812_01,9.9.33,126b7ce6 and installs QQ.app from Tencent's versioned DMG. The first component identifies the Mac build, while the additional components identify the download path. The official Mac download page now advertises a newer 7.0.2 release for Intel and Apple Silicon; this listing does not replace the recorded build with that newer artifact.

The official Mac log includes 6.9.99 with screen-recording GIF extraction and notification improvements. It does not list the exact 7.0.0_260812_01 build in the examined index.
