JetBrains PhpStorm is an IDE for PHP development. It provides coding assistance and tools for working with PHP projects, alongside support for technologies such as Laravel, Symfony, WordPress, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.

  • Navigate project files, code, declarations, and usages across a codebase.
  • Refactor code across a project and use the IDE’s debugger for Xdebug, including conditional breakpoints and step-through inspection.
  • Work with PHP testing tools including PHPUnit and Pest; view test results and code coverage in the IDE.
  • Use integrated tools for tasks such as resolving Git merge conflicts and running terminal commands.
