LXGW Bright TC combines the Latin portion of Ysabeau Office with the traditional Chinese forms of LXGW WenKai TC. It is the TC variant of the LXGW Bright family, rather than the GB or standard variants, and is intended for horizontal typesetting; the project notes that it is not suitable for vertical typesetting.

The Homebrew cask installs six TrueType files: Regular, Italic, Light, Light Italic, Medium, and Medium Italic. These are the specific styles included by this cask, not a claim that it installs every variant in the wider LXGW Bright family. The project describes the family as a merged font based on Ysabeau and LXGW WenKai, with the Latin component shared across its three glyph variants.
