介紹

eM Client is an email and productivity application. This Homebrew entry installs the beta variant for macOS, not the separate emclient cask.

The application brings email, calendar, tasks, contacts, notes and chat together. Its listed tools include message encryption and translation, inbox categories, snoozing and pinning messages, and watching for replies. AI-assisted options include drafting or refining email, summarizing messages or conversations, natural-language search and creating rules from instructions. The official site also describes turning dates and to-dos in messages into events or tasks. AI use can be configured through eM Client's add-on or a custom AI provider.

Install the beta with brew install --cask emclient@beta. It requires macOS 14 or later. This cask conflicts with the separate emclient cask, so they cannot be installed together through Homebrew.

The official site describes eM Client for desktop and mobile, but this package is specifically the macOS beta. The site lists integrations with Google Workspace, Office 365, Outlook and Exchange; availability of particular services or features may depend on the account and setup.

如何在 Mac 上安裝 eM Client

在「終端機」中執行： brew install --cask emclient@beta
Homebrew 會執行安裝檔 setup.pkg，需要輸入管理員密碼。

不用 Homebrew 安裝

直接下載 Homebrew 使用的同一個檔案： cdn-dist.emclient.com/dist/v11.0.865_Mac/setup.pkg

解除安裝命令

brew uninstall --cask emclient@beta

普通解除安裝會刪除應用本身，設定和快取會保留。

eM Client 安全嗎？

eM Client 收錄在 Homebrew 官方軟體庫中，沒有被停用。自 2026 年 9 月起，Homebrew 會停用沒有通過 macOS Gatekeeper 檢查的應用。安裝時，Homebrew 會用 SHA-256 校驗值核對來自 cdn-dist.emclient.com 的安裝檔。過去 30 天，它透過 Homebrew 安裝了 13 次。

如何在 Mac 上徹底解除安裝 eM Client？

執行 brew uninstall --cask emclient@beta。它會清除 1 條安裝記錄。要連設定和快取一起刪除，執行 brew uninstall --zap --cask emclient@beta。--zap 還會刪除 Homebrew 定義裡列出的設定、快取等檔案，其中可能有其他應用共用的資料，刪除後無法恢復；它也不保證沒有任何殘留。請先備份需要保留的資料；如要保留設定和快取，請不要加 --zap。這會再刪除 3 處檔案和資料夾，包括 ~/Library/Caches/com.emclient.mail.client。
