介紹

ChordPotion is a MIDI plug-in for turning chord progressions into riffs, melodies, arpeggios, and basslines in real time. It is installed as a macOS package and provides AU, VST2, and VST3 plug-in formats.

  • Start with factory presets and additional downloadable preset packages, then adjust patterns to suit a track.
  • Use the built-in sequencer to create and edit rhythmic patterns, including patterns with separate lengths and polyrhythmic or polymetric structures.
  • Apply randomization to generated notes, ranging from subtle variation to more generative melodies.
  • Record generated MIDI notes and export them as standard MIDI files for further editing in a DAW.
  • Connect the plug-in to synthesizers, or preview phrases with its built-in sound module.

To install, run brew install --cask chordpotion. After installation, load ChordPotion in a compatible DAW, enter or play a chord progression, and try a preset or build a sequence. The official product page identifies macOS 10.13 or later and a 64-bit Intel or M1 processor as requirements. This Homebrew cask installs the macOS version; it does not install the Windows version.

如何在 Mac 上安裝 ChordPotion
