Descripción

Superset brings coding-agent terminals, code review and browser previews into one desktop workspace. The official project supports Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor Agent and other CLI agents, letting you keep existing agent subscriptions. macOS is its primary desktop target, with Apple-silicon and Intel downloads.

Workspaces and review

Give independent tasks their own Git worktree, branch and terminals. Worktrees separate working files; they do not sandbox processes or prevent merge conflicts. Inspect agent patches in the built-in diff viewer, run tests, preview development servers in the browser pane and review before committing and merging. Per-workspace port detection keeps previews associated with the relevant worktree.

Terminals and agent controls

Terminal tabs, split panes, presets and persistent sessions support longer tasks. The sidebar tracks agent activity and can notify when attention is needed. Prompt editors support multiline text and file mentions. Keyboard shortcuts, themes, custom agent configuration and workspace setup/teardown scripts adapt the environment to your workflow.

Additional surfaces

The official documentation describes remote access, scheduled automations, a CLI, TypeScript SDK and MCP server for managing the same workspaces. Optional mobile access has separate service and device requirements. The desktop app is described as free forever; its repository uses Elastic License 2.0, not a permissive open-source license.

Installation and version scope

Git is required. GitHub CLI is optional and enables pull-request workflows. Download the desktop app, add or clone a repository, create a workspace and choose your CLI agent. The Homebrew cask records macOS 12 or newer. Latest three backend-recorded versions examined: 1.37.0, 1.36.0 and 1.35.0. Consult exact release notes rather than assuming every current documentation feature existed in earlier builds.
