Beschreibung

Urbanist is a low-contrast, geometric sans-serif typeface inspired by Modernist design. The Homebrew cask installs a variable TTF and static OTF font files; it installs fonts, not an application.

  • The project describes its variable font as having Weight and Italic axes.
  • The cask's static files include Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, Bold, ExtraBold and Black weights, with italic files for each weight.
  • Use the installed Urbanist font by selecting it in a compatible application, such as a design or publishing tool. Installing the files does not make Urbanist the default font.

Install with brew install --cask font-urbanist. After installation, choose Urbanist from the font menu in the application where you want to use it.

The cask installs specific font files rather than every possible font build. Font files alone do not establish full Unicode coverage or ligature support.

So installieren Sie Urbanist auf dem Mac

  1. Führen Sie im Terminal Folgendes aus: brew install --cask font-urbanist
  2. Homebrew installiert die Schrift in ~/Library/Fonts, wo die App „Schriftsammlung“ sie verwenden kann.

Befehl zum Deinstallieren
brew uninstall --cask font-urbanist
