Beschreibung

Monoisome is a coding font that combines Monoid with Font Awesome. Its distinguishing purpose is to make icons visible directly in code. The Homebrew cask installs one font file, Monoisome-Regular.ttf; it does not install the separate Monoid font family or its other styles.

  • Combines Monoid and Font Awesome, with icons intended to appear in code.
  • Based on Monoid, which is described as a customizable coding font with semi-condensed, distinguishable glyphs and sharp rendering at small sizes.
  • Monoid’s site describes ligatures and other glyph features, but those general Monoid details do not establish the complete feature set of the installed Monoisome file.

Install with brew install --cask font-monoisome. After installation, select the installed Monoisome font in a compatible code editor or terminal to use it; installing the cask does not install an application. The cask supplies only the Regular font file. Font Awesome references do not establish full Unicode coverage, and the available evidence does not establish ligature support for this specific installed file.
