Beschreibung

Monoid is a typeface designed for coding, with semi-condensed, distinguishable glyphs and a bitmap-like appearance intended to stay sharp at small sizes, including on low-resolution displays. Its design features short ascenders and descenders, big apertures, and supersized operators and punctuation.

The Monoid project describes regular, bold, oblique, and retina versions, and says the broader typeface supports Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic glyphs, ligatures, alternates, and Powerline glyphs. The cask caveat identifies its selected variant as normal weight, medium line height, with ligatures enabled. The installed font files are Monoid-Bold.ttf, Monoid-Italic.ttf, Monoid-Regular.ttf, and Monoid-Retina.ttf.

Install with brew install --cask font-monoid. After installation, select Monoid in a compatible application; for coding use, choose it in an editor or terminal that supports custom fonts. This installs font files, not a standalone application. To get other styles, the cask recommends tapping the sscotth/monoid repository and then installing the desired style from that tap:

brew tap sscotth/monoid

So installieren Sie Monoid auf dem Mac
