Beschreibung

Halant is a serif font family for Devanagari and Latin text, designed with long, continuous reading in mind. The Devanagari letterforms draw on traditional writing and calligraphic principles, while the Latin characters use low stroke contrast and a traditional European serif style.

  • This Homebrew cask installs five font files: Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, and Bold.
  • The typeface’s Devanagari design has modest matra height and a traditional appearance; the Latin design has diagonal stress and a tall lowercase x-height.
  • The family is described as supporting Devanagari and Latin, including conjunct forms used in languages such as Hindi, Marathi, and Nepali.

Install with brew install --cask font-halant. After installation, select the Halant style you want in an application that supports choosing installed fonts, such as a word processor or design application. This installs fonts, not a separate application.

So installieren Sie Halant auf dem Mac
