Oracle VirtualBox

Oracle VirtualBox is a virtualizer. This Homebrew cask installs the test-build variant, not a stable release. The cask supports arm64 and Intel Macs, selecting the corresponding build for the host architecture. Oracle’s test-build page lists macOS builds alongside builds for other platforms and distinguishes stable-branch test builds from development snapshots.

• The supplied arm64 artifact installs the VirtualBox package and selects its VirtualBox and command-line interface components.
• The cask is intended for macOS and conflicts with the virtualbox and virtualbox@6 casks.
• Oracle notes that snapshots and saved states created with newer branches or development builds may not work with older branches or releases.
• Oracle says its macOS test builds are notarized and do not require disabling System Integrity Protection.

Install with brew install --cask virtualbox@beta. This is a test build, so consult Oracle’s test-build page for current build information and guidance.
