Sublime Text

Sublime Text is a desktop text editor for code, markup, and prose. This Homebrew cask installs the dev build of the macOS app, not the stable sublime-text cask. Dev builds are in progress, receive updates more frequently, and are less tested than stable releases. Sublime Text’s official dev-build page says they are available to licensed users only and may show more update notifications.

• The app is installed as Sublime Text.app in /Applications.
• The cask also provides the subl command-line executable in the Homebrew prefix.
• The official build notes include ongoing changes and fixes to syntax highlighting, editing, performance, and the editor API; exact changes vary between builds.
• This cask conflicts with the stable sublime-text cask, so they cannot be installed together through these casks.

Install with brew install --cask sublime-text@dev. The official dev-build page lists macOS 10.13 or later as the minimum for this build. Choose this variant if you specifically want the more frequently updated development build and have a Sublime Text license; choose the stable cask instead if you want the stable variant.
