Stremio

Stremio is a media-center app for exploring and watching movies, TV shows, web channels and other content through its add-on system. The app itself does not provide content; what you can find depends on the add-ons you install.

• Browse content in the Discover and Board sections after installing add-ons from the catalog.
• Sign in to sync your progress across supported devices, or choose Guest mode; Guest mode does not sync your library across devices.
• Play magnet links, HTTP links and torrent files. Chromecast casting is supported.
• The Stremio homepage describes apps for several platforms; this Homebrew package installs the macOS desktop app, Stremio.app.

Install with brew install --cask stremio@beta. This is the beta cask and conflicts with the separate stremio cask, so do not install both. Homebrew selects an installer build according to the macOS version and processor architecture. The cask requires macOS.

Stremio does not supply the media itself. The homepage describes offline availability as an upcoming feature; it says cached videos may be watched later without a connection when caching is enabled in settings.
