Shadow PC Beta

Shadow PC Beta is the macOS client for accessing Shadow’s cloud-based Windows PC. The official site describes Shadow as a full Windows computer streamed to your device, rather than a service limited to a fixed game catalog.

• Access a Windows desktop remotely and install Windows games and software on it.
• Use game libraries and platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net, and GOG from the cloud PC.
• Stream the cloud PC to a Mac; Shadow also describes access through a web browser and other device types on its service.
• Game and software availability can depend on publisher policies, including anti-cheat or DRM restrictions for virtual machines.

Install the beta client with brew install --cask shadow@beta, then launch Shadow PC Beta from Applications and sign in to access your Shadow PC. The Homebrew package installs the beta app; it is not the cloud computer itself. A Shadow account and service access are required to use the cloud PC. Streaming quality depends on the internet connection; Shadow recommends a stable connection of 10 Mb/s or more for a smooth experience.
