PDF Expert is a PDF reader and editor for Mac. This Homebrew entry installs the pdf-expert@beta cask variant, which conflicts with the pdf-expert cask.
With PDF Expert, you can:
- Edit PDF text, images, and links, and add signatures.
- Annotate documents with notes, highlights, drawings, stamps, and stickers.
- Manage pages by rearranging, extracting, deleting, rotating, or merging them.
- Convert PDFs to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or JPG, and use OCR to recognize text in scanned documents.
- Search PDF text and fill out PDF forms.
Install with brew install --cask pdf-expert@beta, then open PDF Expert.app from Applications. The cask requires macOS 12 or later. The official product site also describes PDF Expert for iPhone and iPad; this cask installs the Mac app.
