Opera Developer
Opera · An early-access version of the Opera browser for trying features and experiments still in development.
About
Opera Developer is an early-access version of the Opera browser. It lets users try browser features, tools, and experiments while they are still being developed. Opera describes it as suited to developers and advanced users who want to explore upcoming changes and provide feedback.
- Offers an early look at new Opera browser features and experiments.
- Lets users try changes publicly while they are being tested and refined.
- Some experiments may not appear in the stable Opera browser.
- Features still in development can be unstable or crash; Opera advises testing with caution.
Install with brew install --cask opera@developer. The cask installs Opera Developer.app in /Applications. macOS 13 or later is required. This is the Developer early-access browser, not the stable Opera release. To start, open Opera Developer from Applications and explore its browser features; the official product page also points to the Desktop team’s blog for updates.
