Navicat Data Modeler

Navicat Data Modeler is a macOS application for visually designing database structures and working with entity-relationship diagrams.

• Create and edit database models on a canvas, with support for Crow’s Foot, IDEF1X, and UML notations.
• Reverse-engineer a model from a live database schema or from SQL DDL; the live-database process creates a diagram from structure and relationships rather than pulling data.
• Generate SQL for a model or selected parts of it, and compare model workspaces to identify structural differences.
• Build models for databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, and Snowflake.

Install with brew install --cask navicat-data-modeler, then open Navicat Data Modeler from Applications. The cask installs the macOS application. Navicat’s product information lists database design and modeling capabilities; this Homebrew entry is for Navicat Data Modeler, not a different Navicat product.
