massCode is a Developer Tools app for Mac.

About

massCode is a developer workspace for keeping code snippets, notes, and HTTP requests together. It also includes tools for drawings, calculations, and other developer tasks. The Homebrew cask installs the macOS app.

  • Organize code snippets in folders and use tags to find useful code.
  • Create notes and connect them with snippets and API requests; a graph view helps explore those links. Notes can also hold tasks with statuses, priorities, and due dates.
  • Save HTTP requests and run them in sequence as workflows, passing values between steps and inspecting results.
  • Use built-in developer tools, including JSON comparison, encoders, converters, generators, and a math notebook.
  • Keep workspace files accessible outside the app: the product describes code, notes, and requests as Markdown, and drawings as Excalidraw files. Its website also describes syncing the workspace folder with services or tools such as iCloud, Dropbox, Syncthing, or Git.

Install with brew install --cask masscode, then open massCode from Applications. This cask is for macOS. The app’s website describes the workspace as local-first and usable offline.

Uninstall command
$ brew uninstall --cask masscode

A regular uninstall removes the app and keeps its settings and caches.

Deep clean (optional)
$ brew uninstall --zap --cask \masscode

--zap also deletes the settings, caches and other files listed in the Homebrew definition. They can include data shared with other apps and cannot be restored, and it does not guarantee that nothing is left.See which files are removed
