About
KeePassXC is a password manager for storing and managing sensitive personal information. It keeps data in an encrypted file rather than on remote servers; the file can be saved in a location of your choice. The supplied Homebrew cask installs the macOS app and includes the keepassxc-cli command-line tool.
- Store passwords, usernames, URLs, attachments, and notes in an encrypted file.
- Use the graphical application to manage password data.
- Access the included command-line interface through
keepassxc-cli. - The project describes KeePassXC as free and open source; its source code is under GPLv3.
Install this cask with brew install --cask keepassxc@beta. It requires macOS 12 or later. The cask conflicts with the keepassxc and keepassxc@snapshot casks, so those cannot be installed alongside it.
