About
Microsoft Intune Company Portal helps a Mac connect to work or school resources under an organization's device-management policies. It is an enrollment and access-management client, not a general-purpose personal productivity app. Setup requires an appropriate work or school account and an organization that uses Intune.
Enrollment workflow
Install the Mac PKG, open Company Portal from Applications and sign in with your work or school account. Start setup, review the privacy information and download the management profile. Review and install that profile in macOS System Settings, then return to Company Portal to confirm that enrollment succeeded. Enrollment changes the management relationship of the device; review the organization's privacy and policy information before proceeding.
Compliance and ongoing access
Company Portal lists settings that must change to meet organizational requirements, such as an operating-system update. Review the device's Status, follow the provided help links and select Retry after making changes. The app notifies you about new requirements so you can keep access to work email, files and apps. Exact policies and available corporate resources depend on your administrator.
Support and updates
The Help menu can send a diagnostic report and provide an incident ID for your IT support team. Support contact details are available in the app, and Help > Send Feedback sends product feedback. Microsoft documents updating the app through Microsoft AutoUpdate for macOS. The enrollment guide lists macOS 11 or later; follow your organization's current support requirements as well.
Distribution and release scope
This Homebrew cask installs the Microsoft Mac Company Portal package. Its latest recorded version is 5.2606.0. No exact-version public change details for the three latest backend-recorded builds were established in the examined official enrollment documentation. Intune service changes or Outlook Mobile releases with similar version numbers must not be treated as Company Portal Mac changes. No public source-code repository for this proprietary client is identified by the examined official guide.
