Kong · Beta-channel command-line client for HTTP and GraphQL workflows, API testing, and linting in CI/CD pipelines.
About
inso is a command-line client for HTTP and GraphQL work, with capabilities for automating API testing and linting in CI/CD workflows. This Homebrew entry installs the beta-channel inso@beta cask, rather than the separate inso cask.
- Run API tests and collection runs as part of automated workflows.
- Lint API specifications and apply custom rules to validate API quality.
- Use GitOps workflows to automate API-related CI/CD tasks, including specification validation during testing and deployment.
- The cask provides an
insocommand-line binary at$HOMEBREW_PREFIX/bin/inso.
To install, run brew install --cask inso@beta. The cask requires macOS; Apple silicon Macs require Rosetta. It conflicts with the separate inso cask, so the two casks cannot be installed together. After installation, invoke the CLI with inso and consult its command-line help for available commands.
The product page describes API automation and CI/CD uses; this entry covers the CLI cask only, not a separate graphical application.
