About

FreeYourMusic is a desktop app for moving music collections between streaming services. Connect existing accounts, choose a source and destination, then select which playlists or other supported collections to transfer.

  • Transfers playlists, liked songs, saved albums, and followed artists between supported services.
  • Matches tracks across services and aims to preserve playlist names and song order. The app can flag imperfect matches for review; some tracks may not be available on the destination service.
  • Supports selecting collections individually, with search and filtering, and displays track counts before transfer.
  • The official site lists services including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, Deezer, SoundCloud, and Qobuz; available services may vary by source and destination.

Install on macOS with brew install --cask freeyourmusic. The cask requires macOS 12 or later. After installation, open FreeYourMusic, connect the music-service accounts you want to use, and choose what to transfer. Service access and transfers can depend on the accounts and limitations of the services involved.
