Zhudou Sans
Ershou Xiaoxi Press · A CJK punctuation font family with fullwidth letters and digits, designed to pair with other fonts rather than replace them.
Zhudou Sans is a font you can install on a Mac.
About
Zhudou Sans is a font family focused on CJK punctuation, derived from Noto Sans and Source Han Sans. The Homebrew cask installs seven static OpenType files: ExtraLight, Light, Normal, Regular, Medium, Bold, and Heavy. It is a font, not an application.
- Covers modern Chinese, Japanese, and Korean punctuation, fullwidth letters and digits, and selected additional symbols.
- OpenType features include regional punctuation forms, vertical punctuation, alternate widths, centered punctuation, punctuation compression, and optional ligatures for repeated fullwidth question and exclamation marks.
- It does not contain Han characters, kana, Hangul, general Latin letters, or ordinary digits. Use it alongside other fonts to supply those characters; its punctuation is intended to coordinate with similarly styled Latin fonts.
Install the cask with brew install --cask font-zhudou-sans. After installation, select the installed Zhudou Sans font in an application that supports font selection. The cask installs the listed static styles; the project also describes a variable font, but that is not among the files installed by this cask. OpenType options depend on the features exposed by the application.
