Wix Madefor Text
Dalton Maag Ltd · A variable text typeface with regular and italic files, designed for flexible weights and readable use at small sizes.
Wix Madefor Text is a font you can install on a Mac.
About
Wix Madefor is described by Wix as having wide geometric proportions, clean curves, and distinctive grotesk terminals; the page says these features are best seen in the flagship Display cut. Wix describes its Text styles as suitable for paragraph text and small-size interface use, and says its italics have a dynamic, cursive character.
- This Homebrew cask installs two variable font files:
WixMadeforText[wght].andttf WixMadeforText-Italic[wght]..ttf - The files provide upright and italic Text styles with adjustable weight; the installed files are the Text cuts, not the separate Display cuts shown on the typeface site.
- To install, run
brew install --cask font-wix-madefor-text. Then select the installed Wix Madefor Text font in a compatible application, such as a document editor or design tool. Installing the font does not install an application. - The typeface page describes visual design characteristics and demonstrates example styles; those examples do not change which font files this cask installs.
The available files do not establish full Unicode coverage or ligature support.
