Ubuntu Sans
Dalton Maag Ltd · A variable sans-serif font family distributed as regular and italic TTF files.
About
Ubuntu Sans is a sans-serif font family offered through Google Fonts. The Homebrew cask installs two variable TrueType font files: a regular file and an italic file. Their filenames indicate wdth and wght axes, for width and weight.
- Includes
UbuntuSans[wdth,wght].ttfandUbuntuSans-Italic[wdth,wght].ttf. - Installs the font files in
~/Library/Fonts. - This cask installs fonts, not a separate application.
Install with brew install --cask font-ubuntu-sans. After installation, select Ubuntu Sans or its italic style from the font menu in an application that supports installed fonts. For coding, choose it in a compatible editor or terminal if that suits your workflow. Installing the files does not automatically change an application's selected font.
The cask provides the two listed files; it does not establish that other styles or complete Unicode coverage are included. The available evidence also does not establish ligature support.
