UbuntuMono Nerd Font is a font you can install on a Mac.

About

UbuntuMono Nerd Font is the Nerd Fonts patched distribution of Ubuntu Mono. The official family README credits Canonical's funding of the Ubuntu Font Family and Dalton Maag's technical design and implementation. Nerd Fonts adds symbol collections used in developer tooling and terminal interfaces; this package is the patched Ubuntu Mono family, not the whole Nerd Fonts collection.

The family documentation lists collections including Codicons, Devicons, Font Awesome, Material Design, Octicons, Powerline symbols and weather icons, with distinct upstream licenses. The Ubuntu base font and bundled symbol sets have their own licensing requirements; consult the supplied license files rather than assuming a single license covers all glyphs.

Choose a Nerd Font Mono variant when your terminal requires fixed-width glyphs. The ordinary Nerd Font variant allows larger icons, which may be wider than one text cell. Nerd Font Propo variants are intended for proportional contexts such as interface elements or presentations. The Homebrew cask installs regular, bold and italic styles from these variants into the user's Library/Fonts directory. After installation, select the desired family in the terminal or editor; installing fonts alone does not change an application's preferences.

Install with brew install --cask font-ubuntu-mono-nerd-font. The backend records collection release 3.5.1 and its exact UbuntuMono.tar.xz artifact. The official 3.5.1 release notes are collection-wide: they correct inclusion of promised Devicons, remove fi/fl ligatures from SpaceMono, and flatten forgotten font subdirectories. The SpaceMono change is not represented as an Ubuntu Mono-specific fix.
