About

Tiejili SC is a display typeface with sharp forms, based on Fontworks’ Japanese Reggae One and expanded and adjusted for Simplified Chinese. The Homebrew cask installs the regular OTF file, TiejiliSC-Regular.otf; it installs a font, not an application.

  • The project describes support for the 8,105 characters in the General Standard Chinese Characters table and the 6,763 Chinese characters in GB/T 2312, with additional characters for specialist fields. It also adds Hanyu Pinyin letters, Bopomofo, and Suzhou numerals.
  • Some Chinese characters and punctuation forms have been adjusted for Simplified Chinese conventions.
  • OpenType features provide optional centered and slanted punctuation and full-width quotation marks (cpct, ss01, ss02, ss03).
  • Optional ligatures (dlig) can combine consecutive exclamation or question marks; alternate-width features can compress punctuation.

Install with brew install --cask font-tiejili-sc. After installation, select Tiejili SC in a font-enabled application to use it. The punctuation options depend on the application’s support for OpenType features. The font is offered under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits use, including commercial use, distribution, and modification, subject to its terms.

How to install Tiejili SC on Mac
