About

Special Gothic is a typeface available through Google Fonts. This Homebrew cask installs one font file, SpecialGothic[wdth, wght].ttf, in the user’s ~/Library/Fonts directory.

  • The installed artifact is a TTF file with variable wdth and wght axes, as indicated by its filename.
  • The cask installs that specific file; it does not install a separate font application.
  • The font can be selected from an application’s font menu after installation. For coding, select it in an editor or terminal that supports choosing fonts.

Install with brew install --cask font-special-gothic. Once installed, choose Special Gothic in the font settings of a compatible application.

The cask provides one font file. Its inclusion does not establish full Unicode coverage or ligature support.
