About

SpaceMono Nerd Font is the Nerd Fonts-patched Space Mono font family. Nerd Fonts adds extra glyphs, including icons, to developer-oriented fonts. This Homebrew cask installs 12 specific font files; it is a font package, not an application.

The installed files include regular, bold, italic, and bold italic styles, in three naming variants: SpaceMonoNerdFont, SpaceMonoNerdFontMono, and SpaceMonoNerdFontPropo. Nerd Fonts includes glyph collections such as Font Awesome, Material Design Icons, and Octicons.

Install with Homebrew:

brew install --cask font-space-mono-nerd-font

After installation, choose the installed SpaceMono Nerd Font style in your editor or terminal’s font settings. Installing the cask does not install or launch an editor or terminal.

How to install SpaceMono Nerd Font (Space Mono) on Mac

  1. In Terminal, run: brew install --cask font-space-mono-nerd-font
  2. Homebrew installs the font in ~/Library/Fonts, where Font Book can use it.

Install without Homebrew

Download the same file Homebrew uses: github.com/ryanoasis/nerd-fonts/releases/download/v3.5.1/SpaceMono.tar.xz
