About

Simple Line Icons is an icon font with symbols for use in web and other compatible projects. Its preview includes examples such as arrows, user and device symbols, communication and media icons, and common interface actions. The official site shows icon class names alongside the preview and explains how to use the icons with its CSS classes.

The Homebrew cask installs one font file, Simple-Line-Icons.ttf, in ~/Library/Fonts. This cask installs the font file only; it does not install the website’s CSS or a standalone application.

Install it with:

brew install --cask font-simple-line-icons

After installation, select the Simple Line Icons font in a compatible application to use its glyphs. It is an icon font, not a general-purpose text typeface. The installed file is the specific font artifact provided by this cask, not a claim that every possible font variant is included.

The project’s website provides icon previews, corresponding CSS class names, and usage examples for serving its icon assets from a website or using a CDN. Those web assets and setup steps are separate from the font-only Homebrew cask.
