About

Sarasa Gothic is a CJK composite font based on Inter, Iosevka, and Source Han Sans. This Homebrew cask installs the Sarasa-SuperTTC.ttc font collection; it does not install a separate application.

The font family offers several style dimensions:

  • Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic characters can use Inter-based Gothic or UI styles, distinguished by full-width or narrow quotation marks.
  • Iosevka-based Mono, Term, and Fixed styles differ in em-dash width; Fixed has no ligatures.
  • Orthography options include Classical (CL) and regional forms (SC, TC, J, K, and HC), following Source Han Sans naming conventions.

Install it with brew install --cask font-sarasa-gothic. Then select the installed Sarasa Gothic style you want in your editor or terminal’s font settings; installing the font does not select it automatically. The project recommends completely removing the old version of this font before installing a newer version, because operating-system and software caches may have trouble with large TTC fonts.
