About

Saira Stencil is a stencil-style font family offered through Google Fonts. This Homebrew cask installs two font files: the regular Saira Stencil file and its italic counterpart. Both files are variable fonts, as indicated by their weight and width axes in the filenames.

  • Includes SairaStencil[wdth,wght].ttf and SairaStencil-Italic[wdth,wght].ttf.
  • Provides regular and italic styles as separate installed files.
  • Installs the fonts in the current user's ~/Library/Fonts directory.

Install with brew install --cask font-saira-stencil. Once installed, select Saira Stencil or its italic style from the font menu in an application that supports installed fonts. This cask installs font files, not a separate application; use them in a coding editor or terminal only if that application supports the font and the intended text. The included files do not establish full Unicode coverage or ligature support.
