Roboto Serif
Commercial Type · A Google Fonts serif typeface installed as variable upright and italic TrueType font files.
About
Roboto Serif is a serif typeface available from Google Fonts. The Homebrew cask installs two TrueType font files: an upright face and an italic face. Their filenames indicate variable axes for grade (GRAD), optical size (opsz), width (wdth), and weight (wght).
To install the font files, run brew install --cask font-roboto-serif. This cask installs the files in ~/Library/Fonts. Once installed, select the actual Roboto Serif font in an application that supports choosing fonts. This package installs fonts, not an application; the available styles are the upright and italic files listed here.
The font’s axis names indicate variable design dimensions, but do not establish full Unicode coverage or support for particular typographic features such as ligatures. For details about the typeface, visit Google Fonts.
