psudoFont Liga Mono is a font you can install on a Mac.

About

psudoFont Liga Mono is a monospaced typeface family intended for code and terminal text. Its design draws on Meslo/Menlo and IBM Plex Mono/Lilex, while incorporating redesigned glyphs.

  • The family has Regular and Italic styles at weight 400, plus Bold and Bold Italic at weight 700.
  • It supports programming ligatures and Lilex-based font features, with additional features added by the project.
  • The font supports Lilex ligatures and symbols, along with some additional ones. The fi, ffi, fl, and ffl ligatures are not supported.
  • The Homebrew cask installs four font files: Bold, Bold Italic, Italic, and Regular.

Install with brew install --cask font-psudofont-liga-mono. After installation, select psudoFont Liga Mono as the font in a compatible application. For coding or terminal use, choose it in the editor or terminal’s font settings; ligatures may need to be enabled in the application. In Visual Studio Code, the project documents enabling them with "editor.fontLigatures": true. The project notes that the font works better at size 16 or higher.

This cask installs font files, not an application. The project describes the font as licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1.
