Noto Serif
Monotype Imaging Inc. · A serif font family installed as variable TrueType files for upright and italic styles.
About
Noto Serif is a serif font family. This Homebrew cask installs two variable TrueType font files: an upright face and an italic face, each with width and weight axes. These are the specific files included by this cask, not a promise that it installs every Noto Serif variant.
- Includes
NotoSerif[wdth, wght].ttffor the upright style. - Includes
NotoSerif-Italic[wdth,wght].ttffor the italic style. - Both are variable fonts, with width (
wdth) and weight (wght) axes indicated in their file names. - The files are placed in
~/Library/Fontsby the cask.
Install with brew install --cask font-noto-serif. After installation, select the installed Noto Serif font in a compatible application’s font menu to use it. This package installs fonts, not a separate application. The files included here do not establish the family’s full character coverage or support for typographic features such as ligatures.
