    The existing family’s distribution now uses a variable font file in place of three previously listed static files. Its weight axis ranges from 100 to 900, with a default of 400.

    The distribution of the existing Noto Sans Syriac family now contains NotoSansSyriac[wght].ttf in place of the previously listed Black, Regular, and Thin files. The current font has a wght axis ranging from 100 to 900, with a default value of 400. Its binary build string is Version 3.000; this identifies the font build and does not mean the family received a formally numbered release. The family metadata was also modified. This describes the distribution change and does not imply that upstream no longer offers static styles.
