About
Montagu Slab is a font package for the Montagu Slab typeface listed on Google Fonts. The Homebrew cask installs one font file: MontaguSlab[opsz,wght].. It does not install a separate application.
To install it, run brew install --cask font-montagu-slab. After installation, open an application that supports choosing installed fonts and select Montagu Slab from its font options. The font can be used wherever that application allows a user-selected font; this package does not provide application-specific setup instructions.
The cask installs this single named file. Whether the font is available in a particular application depends on that application’s font-selection options. See the Google Fonts specimen.

Homebrew installs the font in ~/Library/Fonts, where Font Book can use it.

$ brew uninstall --cask \font-montagu-slabA regular uninstall removes the app and keeps its settings and caches.
Questions
Is Montagu Slab safe?
Montagu Slab is in Homebrew’s official catalog and has not been disabled. Since September 2026, Homebrew disables apps that fail macOS Gatekeeper checks. The download comes from github.com; Homebrew does not verify a checksum for it.
How do I completely uninstall Montagu Slab on a Mac?
Run brew uninstall --cask font-montagu-slab.
