Monaspace Var
Lettermatic · A variable-font package for code, installing five Monaspace typefaces with adjustable weight, width, and slant axes.
About
Monaspace Var is a font package for coding text, not an application. This Homebrew cask installs five variable TrueType font files: Monaspace Argon, Krypton, Neon, Radon, and Xenon. Each has its own design character, including humanist sans, mechanical sans, neo-grotesque sans, handwriting, and slab serif styles.
The variable fonts provide adjustable weight, width, and slant. Monaspace also offers OpenType features for code ligatures and contextual alternates; contextual alternates can be used for texture healing while preserving the monospaced grid. Availability and controls for these font features depend on the application using the font.
Install with brew install --cask font-monaspace-var. Then select the installed Monaspace font in a compatible application, such as a code editor or terminal, to use it for coding. This cask installs only the five variable font files listed above; it does not install a code editor or enable font features in an application.
