About

Miranda Sans is a typeface available through Google Fonts. The Homebrew cask installs two TrueType font files: a variable-weight regular file and a variable-weight italic file.

  • Includes MirandaSans[wght].ttf and MirandaSans-Italic[wght].ttf.
  • Provides regular and italic styles in variable font files; the [wght] token identifies the weight axis in their filenames.
  • Installs the font files in ~/Library/Fonts.

Install with brew install --cask font-miranda-sans. After installation, choose Miranda Sans from the font menu in an application that supports custom fonts. This installs font files, not a separate application. The available files establish the included styles, but do not by themselves establish full Unicode coverage or support for specific typographic features.
