About
A Chinese serif font derived from IPA Mincho, designed for metric compatibility with Windows SimSun.
Supports the GB 18030 character set and can replace the corresponding Windows font in documents while reducing layout changes, although character widths are not identical. It installs as a TrueType font file, not an application, and requires no account. Distributed under IPA Font License 1.0. This branch is archived; newer work is maintained in the upstream Neo font projects.
New What’s new in 1.103 Jul 14 · OpenNavo editorial
The shared 1.103 release makes no changes to SimZhiSong; upstream plans to end routine Neo-project synchronization unless serious errors are found.
