About

IBM Plex Serif is the serif member of the IBM Plex typeface family. The Homebrew cask installs OpenType (.otf) font files for use in applications that let you choose installed fonts; it does not install a separate application.

The included files provide Regular, Italic, Text, and Text Italic styles, along with Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Medium, SemiBold, and Bold weights and their italic styles.

Install with Homebrew:

brew install --cask font-ibm-plex-serif

After installation, select the IBM Plex Serif style you want from the font menu in a compatible application, such as a word processor or design tool. The font files alone do not establish full Unicode coverage or ligature support.
