Fustat
Kief Type Foundry, Alif Type Foundry, Hard Type Foundry · Install the Fustat variable font with Homebrew Cask for use in applications that support installed fonts.
Fustat is a font you can install on a Mac.
About
Fustat is a font offered through Google Fonts. The Homebrew Cask installs one font file, Fustat[wght]., in the current user’s ~/ directory. This package installs the font itself, not a separate application.
- The installed artifact is a TrueType font file.
- The file name identifies it as a variable-weight font (
[wght]); the cask installs this file only, not a collection of separate weight files. - Select Fustat from the font menu in an application that supports installed fonts to use it. For example, choose it in a document or design application’s text settings.
Install with brew install --cask font-fustat. Once installation is complete, open or restart the application where you want to use the font if it does not appear in the font menu.
The supplied package information identifies the installed font file but does not establish its full character coverage or support for ligatures. See the official Google Fonts page for Fustat.
