Fruktur is a typeface available through Google Fonts. This Homebrew cask installs two font files: the regular style and the italic style. It installs fonts, not a separate application.
Included files:
Fruktur-Regular.ttf Fruktur-Italic.ttf
To install, run brew install --cask font-fruktur. After installation, select Fruktur in the font settings of an application that supports custom fonts, such as a word processor or design tool. The installed files provide the two styles listed above; their inclusion does not establish full Unicode coverage or support for typographic ligatures.

Is Fruktur safe?
Fruktur is in Homebrew’s official catalog and has not been disabled. Since September 2026, Homebrew disables apps that fail macOS Gatekeeper checks. The download comes from github.com; Homebrew does not verify a checksum for it.
How do I completely uninstall Fruktur on a Mac?
Run brew uninstall --cask font-fruktur.
