Encode Sans Semi Expanded is a font family distributed as individual TrueType font files. The Homebrew cask installs nine styles: Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, Bold, ExtraBold, and Black. This is the Semi Expanded variant, not a description of other Encode Sans variants.
Install it with brew install --cask font-encode-sans-semi-expanded. The font files are placed in ~/Library/Fonts. After installation, select the installed Encode Sans Semi Expanded style you want in a compatible application that offers font selection. Installing this cask adds fonts; it does not install a separate application. The available files establish which styles are included, but do not establish full Unicode coverage or ligature support.
