About

Baskervville is a typeface available through Google Fonts. This Homebrew cask installs two font files: Baskervville[wght].ttf and Baskervville-Italic[wght].ttf. The filenames identify the regular and italic styles, and [wght] is part of each variable-font filename.

  • Includes the regular Baskervville variable font.
  • Includes the italic Baskervville variable font.
  • Installs both files in ~/Library/Fonts.
  • This cask installs fonts, not a separate application.

Install with Homebrew Cask:

brew install --cask font-baskervville

After installation, select Baskervville or its italic style from the font menu in an application that supports installed fonts. The package contains only the two listed files; their presence does not establish support for every Unicode character or any particular typographic feature.
