About
Ark Pixel 12px Monospaced is the 12-pixel monospaced variant of Ark Pixel Font, a pixel typeface in a sans-serif style. Its fixed half-width or full-width character spacing is designed for strict alignment. This monospaced design constrains glyphs to the character box, so some complex forms may be less clear and the supported character set is smaller than in the proportional variant. The project is under active development and its fonts are missing many characters.
The installed OTF files provide language-specific glyph versions: latin, ja, ko, zh_hans, zh_hant, zh_hk, and zh_tw. These correspond to Latin-script typography, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Hong Kong Traditional Chinese, and Taiwan Traditional Chinese forms. The regional files use distinct approaches to Chinese character shapes. This list identifies the included files; it does not establish complete character coverage.
Install with brew install --cask font-ark-pixel-12px-monospaced. After installation, select the appropriate installed font in a compatible application to use it; this is a font package, not an application. For coding or other monospaced text, choose it in a compatible editor or terminal.
