About

Amarna is a typeface available through Google Fonts. The Homebrew cask installs two font files: an upright variable font and an italic variable font, both in TrueType format.

  • Upright style: Amarna[wght].ttf.
  • Italic style: Amarna-Italic[wght].ttf.
  • The [wght] notation appears in each filename and identifies the variable-font files.

Install with brew install --cask font-amarna. After installation, select Amarna or its italic style from the font menu in an application that supports custom fonts. This installs font files, not a separate application. The supplied information identifies the included files but does not establish complete Unicode coverage or other font capabilities.
