Adds templates, recent-file thumbnails, filled-region vector editing and full screen, with export, collaboration, MCP and file-handling fixes.
Editing and files
- Adds starter templates, a home-screen Templates section, first-run help and recent-file thumbnail cards with list view and sorting.
- Improves number fields, outline options, Hide when publishing, cursors, panel widths and dark pages. Linked width/height input preserves proportions; wrapped-text alignment and colour-picker swatches are fixed.
- Improves prototype delays and overlay offsets, frame/group conversion, group effects, style variables and the component playground. Adds F11 / View > Full screen and hovering, hatching, selecting and dragging filled regions in vector edit mode.
- Improves .fig export of instance sizes, variables with modes, shared styles and variable-width strokes. Excessively deep SVG/PDF exports now fail explicitly instead of silently truncating output.
Online files and automation
- Remembers online-file ownership and adds Home ▸ Online, tab marks and safer crash recovery. Documents the default sharing server’s terms/privacy and adds a build-time server switch; this does not make sharing end-to-end encrypted.
- Requires leaving an active collaboration session before reverting its document. Fixes server snapshots that could be persisted but not read back.
- MCP no longer automatically replays sent requests after a lost reply: the operation may have completed, so inspect before retrying. Control frames, workers and queues are bounded and waiting requests expire; dispatched commands may still finish after timeout.
- Fixes preservation of the underlying repeat command and transactional handling of failed command batches. Plugin logs, host calls and copied bytes are metered and limited.
Security and platform scope
-
Requires ruzstd 0.9.1 for RUSTSEC-2026-0344 affecting .fig import. Bounds path sampling, nested-boolean outline depth, SVGZ expansion and embedded SVG resource use.
-
Detects and repairs layer cycles and repeated children; Unix preferences are written owner-only.
-
Warns about missing or damaged native-file images. Saving again still drops those images: this is not automatic recovery or backup.
-
Windows switches from Vulkan to Direct3D 12; Linux AppImage can run figcraft-cli with
cli <args>. These are not macOS-specific changes. -
Fixes repeated rebuilding when a craft-fonts manifest is missing, and adjusts session tests and FreeBSD / Windows ARM64 build workflows.
-
Dev mode adds Leptos code output with component properties, instance calls and Code Connect.
