    新功能：

    • ElyTable：别的程序（脚本、AI 代理）可经命令行读写已打开工作簿的单元格并保存：ely-table cell docs、get、set、save。地址写明工作表，如 Sheet1!A1；读写不动你的光标与选区，每次写入是一步撤销（#19）。
    • ElyPDF：“视图 › 横向滚动”，页面排成一行，按住 Shift 滚动滚轮横移（#39）。
    • ElyMark：右键标签、文件夹里的文件或最近文件，可“复制文件名”“复制路径”（#41）。
    • 设置 › 存储 › 数据文件夹：数据可放到自选的文件夹（如另一块盘），下次启动、没有别的 Ely 应用开着时搬过去；重装系统后选回同一文件夹即直接使用（#43）。

    修复：

    • ElyMark：Windows 上大纲的滚动条闪烁、拖不动（#36）。
    • ElyPDF：Windows 上存不回已打开的文件（拒绝访问）；签名的证书信任在 Windows 与 Linux 上也做核对（原只 macOS）。
    • Windows 与 Linux 上拼写检查可用；Windows 上读屏软件跟得上插入点与选区。
    • ElyMark：在大文件夹里搜索更快（#40）。

    New:

    • ElyTable: other programs, scripts and AI agents among them, read and write cells of an open workbook and save it from the command line: ely-table cell docs, get, set, save. Addresses name their sheet, as in Sheet1!A1; reads and writes leave your cursor and selection alone, and each write is one undo step (#19).
    • ElyPDF: View › Horizontal Scrolling lays pages in a row; Shift and the wheel move across (#39).
    • ElyMark: right-click a tab, a file in the folder, or a recent file to Copy File Name or Copy Path (#41).
    • Settings › Storage › Data folder: keep your data in a folder you choose, such as another drive. It moves there at the next start with no other Ely app open; after a system reinstall, choose the same folder and Ely uses it as it is (#43).

    Fixes:

    • ElyMark: on Windows the outline's scroll bar flickered and would not drag (#36).
    • ElyPDF: on Windows a save over the open file failed (Access is denied); signature certificates are now checked for trust on Windows and Linux too, not only macOS.
    • Spell checking works on Windows and Linux; on Windows, screen readers follow the caret and the selection.
    • ElyMark: searching a large folder is faster (#40).

    • ElyMail：网络随系统代理（HTTP、SOCKS5），国内可经代理登录（#35）。
    • Wayland 下剪贴板直接读写，不经 Xwayland（#24）。

    变更：

    • Gmail 改用应用专用密码登录（#35）。0.1.10 里用 Google 登录添加的 Gmail 账户请移除后重新添加。
    • Outlook.com 拒绝 IMAP（“authenticated but not connected”）时，ElyMail 写明处理办法：在 outlook.live.com 登录一次并完成验证（#35）。

    修复：

    • ElyMail：163 等邮箱的中文文件夹名乱码（#32）；关闭再打开窗口，侧栏菜单自己弹出；列表与阅读区的分隔线重开后回到原位。
    • ElyTable：公式栏里选择文字与插入点的位置（#21）。
    • ElyPDF：书签多时列表滚不动。

    Platforms:

    • Linux packages now build in AlmaLinux 8 and install on Debian 11, Ubuntu 20.04 and newer (they needed glibc 2.43, #34).
    • Intel Macs no longer crash at launch (#31).

    New:

    • Every app's left and right panels fold: Ctrl/Cmd+Alt+S for the left, Ctrl/Cmd+Alt+B for the right, also in the View menu; the choice stays after a restart (#27).
    • Settings choose the interface font and text size; ElyDoc, ElyTable, ElyShow and ElyPDF take a default zoom for new documents (#26).
    • The print dialog presets two-sided printing (Settings › Documents), on all three platforms.
    • ElyMark: body text in any system font (View › Other Font…), with digits of one width (#29); the status bar counts words, characters and the selection (#30); a right-click removes one file from the recent list (#28); line numbers by default in source mode, and the caret's line and column in the status bar (#23).
    • ElyPDF: zoom buttons in the status bar; a zoom keeps the spot you were reading; drag thumbnails to reorder pages, with a line where they will land.
    • ElyMail follows the system proxy (HTTP, SOCKS5), so sign-in works through a proxy (#35).
    • The clipboard works natively on Wayland, without Xwayland (#24).

    Changes:

    • Gmail signs in with an app password (#35). Remove a Gmail account added with Google sign-in in 0.1.10 and add it again.
    • When Outlook.com refuses IMAP ("authenticated but not connected"), ElyMail says what to do: sign in once at outlook.live.com and finish its check (#35).

    Fixes:

    • ElyMail: garbled Chinese folder names from 163 and similar servers (#32); a side-bar menu that opened by itself when the window came back; the divider between the list and the reading pane returning to the middle.
    • ElyTable: text selection and the caret in the formula bar (#21).
    • ElyPDF: a long bookmark list did not scroll.

    Ely Office 0.1.9 — spreadsheet, presentation and Mac formula fixes

    Fixes AutoFilter crashes, master-slide errors and spreadsheet input; brings the Word formula fix to macOS and Linux. Own code is MIT; updates move to GitHub.

    Fixes

    • ElyTable no longer crashes when AutoFilter is enabled for an entire column without a clear header; the first row is used as the header (#4).
    • ElyShow fixes repeated “no visibility” errors in Edit Master when there are more masters than slides (#2).
    • Selected text remains readable with opaque theme selection colours (PR #1).
    • ElyTable accepts the highlighted function with Enter instead of submitting a partial formula. Clicking function candidates, dropdown arrows or input notes no longer reaches the cell underneath (PR #6).
    • The Word formula fix (#9), previously included only in Windows builds, now also reaches macOS and Linux.
    • Windows only: plain-text paste into ElyDoc, ElyTable and ElyShow is fixed; failed pastes show the full cause. This is not a new Mac paste fix.

    Licensing and updates

    Code and releases moved to GitHub. Ely Office’s own code is MIT in v0.1.9; bundled engines retain their licenses. The tagged license guide explicitly retains AGPL obligations for ElyPDF linked with MuPDF, MPL-2.0 and other terms for LibreOffice, and GPL-2.0 for Git. This is not a pure-MIT suite or a license-compliance certification.

    The publisher states that the Mac build is notarized by Apple; this was not independently validated. According to the publisher, 0.1.8 and earlier still check the old Gitea server, where 0.1.9 is also published for the Mac update path; 0.1.9 onward checks GitHub.

    Ely Office 0.1.8 — Document colors, Word formulas and Markdown math

    Document colors, Word formulas and Markdown math.

    • In dark mode, ElyDoc, ElyTable, ElyShow and ElyPDF preserve the document’s own colors; white pages remain white.
    • ElyDoc displays Word EQ field formulas, including fractions, roots, subscripts and superscripts. Inline pictures and formulas no longer float above the line.
    • ElyTable scrolls the sheet tab strip horizontally when many sheets are open and keeps the active sheet visible.
    • ElyMark typesets inline $…$ formulas, reads \(…\) as inline math and \[…\] as block math.
