About

Elgato Wave Link is an audio-mixing app for content creation. The macOS version offered by this Homebrew cask lets you combine audio sources and direct them to mixes for different destinations.

  • Route audio sources to as many as five virtual mixes, with independent routing, levels, effects, and labels for each mix.
  • Group software inputs into channels and control their levels; the product page lists up to eight software or non-Wave input channels, up to four Wave Device inputs, and unlimited app inputs per channel.
  • Use microphones, headsets, capture cards, and other audio inputs, including third-party devices.
  • Apply Audio Unit (AU) effects on macOS. Effects may add latency; ASIO is not supported.
  • Control volume, mute inputs, trigger effects, and switch mixes using Stream Deck.

Install with brew install --cask elgato-wave-link. This cask requires macOS 15 or later. The official specifications list 8 GB RAM and an Intel or Apple Silicon processor for Mac; 16 GB or more and Apple M1 or better are recommended.
